Elizabeth Gate Labor Action – Update #2
Dear Valued Customer:
The labor action occurring at our Elizabeth, NJ facility earlier today is expected to cease at close of business.
At this time, Horizon Lines anticipates resuming normal operations in Elizabeth tomorrow, Wednesday September 29th.
In an effort to minimize the impact to our customer base, Horizon Lines will waive any demurrage charges that may have accrued on freight in Elizabeth today, Tuesday September 28th.
Horizon Lines will promptly communicate any changes to the anticipated schedule outlined above as they occur and will make all reasonable efforts to minimize any negative impact this action may have had on our customers’ operations.
