PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Tomas – Update #2
Dear Valued Customer:
Tropical Storm Tomas is currently located in the south central Caribbean, about 420 miles southeast of Port Au Prince, Haiti. Tomas was upgraded to a Hurricane over the weekend, but has since been downgraded to a Tropical Storm.
Maximum sustained winds related to the storm have reached 45 MPH and it is moving west-southwest at approximately 14 MPH.
Tomas is expected to strengthen as the week progresses. While we do not anticipate any disruptions to our vessel schedules, proactive customers are encouraged to move freight as early as possible to mitigate any unfavorable effects that may occur as a result of this storm. We will update our customer base with any information that could affect our operations as a result of this storm.
