HAWAII SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Clean Truck Surcharge to be Discontinued Effective January 1, 2012
 
 
 
 
Dear Valued Hawaii Customer,
 
 
Horizon Lines will discontinue the Clean Truck Fee (Rule 340-F,G,H) filed in the HRZD 468, for shipments moving over the Port of Los Angeles effective January 1, 2012. This tariff governs shipments moving between the continental U.S. and Hawaii. 
 
 
The removal of the fee coincides with the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach banning trucks with an engine year of 2006 and older.
