HAWAII SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
HORIZON PACIFIC PS323S DELAYED ARRIVING INTO HONOLULU, HI (UPDATE #2)

Dear Valued Customer:

Due to mechanical issues, the Horizon Pacific will be delayed arriving into Honolulu.

• The Horizon Pacific PS323S scheduled to depart Oakland Wednesday evening, July 27; sailed on Thursday morning, July 28th.

• All haste will be made on the route to Honolulu, and at present weather conditions and course we anticipate a Monday, August 1st arrival. Vessel operations are slated to begin at 13:00 on Monday.

• Neighbor Island connections will be impacted and we are working to mitigate these delays.

o We have received extended delivery hours on Monday, Aug 1st at 15:30 from Young Brothers for the Kahului and Nawiliwili barges in an effort to maintain these connections.

o Kahului cargo able to sail on the Monday barge will arrive Tuesday, August 2nd. The remaining cargo will arrive Friday, August 5th.

o Nawiliwili cargo able to sail on the Monday barge will arrive Tuesday, August 2nd. The remaining cargo will arrive Friday, August 5th.

o The Kawaihae cargo will most likely miss its barge connection on Monday. All Kawaihae cargo will now arrive Friday, August 5th.

Horizon Lines is aware that arrival delays may affect our customers’ operations and we will make every reasonable effort to ensure that impacts are minimized. We will continue to provide timely and accurate updates as information becomes available.
