PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Jacksonville: Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC)

 
Dear Valued Customer:

Please be advised that anyone that needs regular access to the Port of Jacksonville must have a TWIC card or proof of application. All truck drivers must have a TWIC card or proof of application in order to make drop-offs and deliveries.

Individuals that must have TWIC cards include:
• Coast Guard-credentialed merchant mariners
• Port facility employees
• Longshoremen
• Truck Drivers
• Others requiring unescorted access to secure areas of maritime facilities and vessels regulated by MTSA

**On December 1, 2008 workers will not be allowed access to the port without a TWIC card or proof of application. **

The TWIC Enrollment Center in Jacksonville is located at:

955 Talleyrand Ave
Jacksonville, FL 32206

Hours of operation are: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

The walk-in application process takes approximately 1.5 hours. Appointments and pre-registering online are recommended to expedite the process. Forms are located on-line to pre-register at: www.tsa.gov/twic

Once you have completed this form, take the TWIC registration receipt and two (2) forms of ID to the enrollment station as well as the appropriate method of payment. The TSA website has a complete list of acceptable documents.
