PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Puerto Rico Selective Tariff Increase Effective October 1st, 2008
Dear Valued Customer:
Effective October 1st, 2008, Horizon Lines will increase its public tariff 414 for shipments moving between the continental United States and Puerto Rico.
Inland rate increases also apply to shipments moving between either Canada or Mexico and Puerto Rico via the Continental United States.
Increases will be as follows:
• Rates for container shipments will increase by 5% over all locations (Jacksonville, Elizabeth, and Houston).
• Rates for container shipments with an inland component will increase by 7%.
